How do I create a new item?

Create a new item and configure its name, item group, price, VAT and any applicable age restriction.

Creating a new item

  1. In Manage Yourselv, go to Items.

  2. Click the orange + button in the top-right corner.

  3. Enter the item details.

You can configure the following information:

  • PLU: the unique number used to identify the item.

  • Name: the name of the item.

  • Image: optionally add an image of the item.

  • Short description: add a short description of the item.

  • Item group: select the group the item belongs to.

  • Unit: enter the item's unit if applicable.

  • Age restriction 18+: specify whether the item has an age restriction.

  • Price: enter the selling price of the item.

  • Purchase price: optionally enter the purchase price.

  • Deposit: enter the amount of the price that consists of a deposit.

  • VAT: select the correct VAT rate.

  1. Check the entered information.

  2. Click the orange button with the check mark in the top-right corner to save the item.

The new item will then appear in the Items overview.
