If you’re hosting a private party, where, for example, you want a particular tap to be disabled, you can also disable the Order Yourself screen.
In Manage Yourself, go to the Point of Sale option and open the Order Yourself screen that you wish to temporarily disable.
A little way down on the right-hand side are the POS settings. One of the options you can configure here is the order mode.
By default, this is set to ‘Paid order’ mode, whereby a guest must pay for every drink they order.
Change this setting to ‘Disabled’:
Next, scroll up a little and click the ‘Synchronise’ button under the ‘Status’ heading:
The screen will display the message ‘Out of service’ and it will not be possible to place orders.
To reactivate the screen once you have finished, switch the mode back to ‘Paid dispensing’.
